Rev. Joshua Jae-Young Buck

1905.3.15      Born in Uiju, North Korea.

1928.9           Moved to Wonsan City and Married Sunnyo Ham.

1944 -1953   Lived in Busan and operated a hotel business.

1953.11          Moved to Seoul with five sons and two daughters.

1962.1.13      Received Jesus as his Savior and was baptized with the Holy Spirit.

1968.3.1        Ordained as an Elder in the Full Gospel Central Church and later served as an Elder in charge of the treasury and the executive office.

1969.5           Supervised construction of Yoido Full Gospel Church.

1972.4            Was appointed and sent to the United States as the first missionary from Yoido Full Gospel Church.

1973.1.7         Pioneered Full Gospel San Francisco Church.

1973.4.11       Was ordained and installed as Pastor of Full Gospel San Francisco Church.

1974.6           Organized the Full Gospel Churches Fellowship of North America and became its first President.

1975.4.1        Pioneered Full Gospel Los Angeles Church.

1975.5.1        Pioneered Full Gospel Monterey Church.

1976.6           Appointed as Pastor of Full Gospel Kentucky Church

1976.8           Pioneered Full Gospel Louisville Church.

1985.12         Married Rev. Kyung Ja Chung after the death of Rev. Ham.

1986.9           Installed as Pastor of Full Gospel Marina Church.

1988.5           Resigned from Full Gospel Marina Church and accepted a second term as the pastor of Full Gospel Kentucky Church.

1989.9           Retired from active ministry.

1998.12.26   Died at 11:30 p.m. following a family worship service. At the time survived by 24 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren which included six ordained ministers, one licensed minister and two elders.
